Idea

Anklebiter was the brain child of the incredably talented Angie Miller. Feeling deflated at how hard it was to find a exciting and affordable oufit for her new Nephew either in the shops or the internet she came up with the idea to produce a range of fun, cute and extremely good quaility New Zealand made garments for our wee Kiwis. Having taken the reins from Angie, I shall continue to produce garments to the same standard that you have come to expect from the Anklebiter name, keeping our garments 100% New Zealand made and also sourcing some wonderful products from around the globe. Being a mother of two myself I know how important it is to have the right gear for our kids, which look great, are comfortable to wear and will wash well. Now Anklebiter has settled into it's new home here on the South Island keep watching for the exciting new ranges coming soon.

Aim

The

aim is to kit out babies and kiddies in luxurious, comfy and fun clothes that are most defiantly affordable! We have spent a great deal of time in the development process and have chosen fabrics that can be washed and washed, whilst maintaining shape and quality. We have also created designs that fit beautifully. Most importantly our clothes are 100% NZ made in every possible way!

How to order

Online: The easiest way to receive your order quickly is to order online. Simply click the “buy now” button when you decide on a garment. At this stage you have two options; you can go straight to the check out, or continue shopping until you are ready to pay. We use a secure server, so your credit card details are 100% safe. Once you have placed your order you will receive notification by email to confirm. If you make this order by 2pm your order will be placed on the courier that day.

Host a Party: Contact us by email or phone to discuss hosting a party in your home. It is easy as pie and all guests will receive 5% off and the host can earn FREE and HALF price merchandise depending on sales. We will supply the clothes, catalogues and invites… and you supply the fun!

Prices

All prices are in New Zealand dollars. You may convert to your currency by using this Currency Converter. All prices include GST.

Payment

Card: We accept Visa and MasterCard through our online store.

Cheques: Please make cheques payable to "anklebiter" and write your name and address on reverse.

Direct payment: We accept payment by internet banking where you deposit the funds directly into our bank account 02 0820 0129635 00. You can use this option when ordering over the phone, by fax or via email.

Gift service

We are pleased to offer a gift service at no extra charge. It’s so easy! All you need to do is select the items of your choice, and then at the checkout simply complete the message box and we shall automatically make it a gift boxed set. You will also need to make sure you enter the receivers address in the delivery address. We will wrap your pressie in tissue, pop in a cute wee box, tie with gorgeous ribbon and then hand write your message in a card and send it to the address of your choice.

The cost of delivery is not included in the garment price.

Delivery to all North Island NZ and South Island NZ addresses is $6.

International orders are shipped via New Zealand Post and the shipping charge is calculated using the weight of your order. This will be automatically calculated at the checkout.

Dates

If you order by 2pm during the week your order will be on the courier that day. All orders placed in the weekend will be processed on Monday. If we are out of stock, or we expect a delay we will contact you.

NZ orders are delivered by courier, and require a signature. Please allow 1-2 working days for delivery.

For all international orders you will get the choice of 3 shipping options: Economy, Air or Express.

Care instructions

Drying – We do not recommend tumble drying clothes and this may cause fading and shrinkage. However when tumble drying is necessary please keep the temperature low.

Washing – We highly recommend that you wash all of our clothes at 30 degrees, and that when washing dark colours the first time you wash separately.

Returns policy

the name of the game is CLIENT SATISFACTION! So if you have any problems with our garments, or service, please contact us as soon as possible. You have up to 14 days (from the shipment date) to return item(s) if you are not happy. Please ensure you return to point of purchase (i.e. to us if purchased online or at the shop you purchased item (s) from).

We will happily refund all shipping charges if we ship you the incorrect item, or if the item is damaged in shipment. Please save your invoice as your receipt. Please use a 'Signed For' delivery service to make sure that your returned parcel reaches us and retain your postage receipt, as we can't accept responsibility for items that fail to get to us.

All items should be returned unworn and with labels intact within 14 days of the shipment date. Merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging. We can only accept garments that have not been worn.

To return garments to simply:

On the invoice circle the item(s) you are returning. Please write a quick note about reason for return.
Please indicate if you’d like a replacement or refund. In the event that the item you are returning has been sold out; you will be offered to choose a replacement of the same cost. The item (s) will be sent to the address on the invoice, so if the address is incorrect please provide a new shipping address on the returned address. Replacement items will be shipped to you free of charge.
If you want a refund we will credit the credit card originally used. We will issue a refund cheque only for items returned or mail orders that were paid for by cheque. If paid by direct debit will also pay by cheque.
